Ollivander's Ladder

This Project I learned how to make strong furniture only using wedged mortise and tenon joints. I was careful to align the stresses of the expanded wedged joint along the wood grain of the ladder sides, preventing the pressure from the wedge from splitting the sides of the ladder. This was a fun project where I had to use extremely bowed and twisted wood, and make a functional rolling ladder out of it. The ladder had to be compressed and hammered into position, and is under a constant state of tension. This gives the ladder extreme rigidity and strength as there is no wobble room for joints to come loose.
